Handy Hints

Handy Hints to save you money.

Q. Picture is at the wrong height on the wall - what can I do?

A. Adjust screw on back of framing, if the height is not right on wall.

This saves you having to drill another hole.

On the back of our framing, we give you extra cord to allow for this.

Q. How do I know it will be the right size on my wall?

A. Get a piece of newspaper to actual size of mirror or artwork you are after and place on wall - you will get a great visualisation of actual size.

Q. What should I use to hang my Artwork?

A.  The safest and cheapest way to hang any picture is a wall plug and a flat head screw.

Q.  What do I use to clean my Artwork?

A.  Use windex on glass only and just dust frame - don't use sprays etc as it can damage frame finish.

Q.  What height should I hang my Artwork?

A.  There are no set rules, but as a guide - hang at eye height.

Q.  I want something really large on my wall, can I get anything?

A.  Only about 5% of images are available oversized.  Ask us and we will show you what is available in many of our worldwide catalogues.

Q.  My walls are prone to moisture - can I hang my Artwork on these walls?

A.  You need air circulating behind your framed Artwork.  We can supply sticky 'bump-ons' to keep Artwork off wall surface.

Q.  I have a Limited Edition print and an Original framed and I have noticed it has gone wavey behind the glass, what can be done?

A. During extreme weather (very hot or very cold) this can occur - the more humid the environment the wavier it can get.
Because the Artwork is hinged and not stuck down, this occurs.
If it becomes very annoying, we can rectify.

Q.  My room is small and dark, what can I do to help this situation?

A.  Mirrors are a great idea.  They add light and make any room appear larger than it is.
