Michael Evans Keirstead

Born in February 1962, Michael is the oldest of six children. He is an extremely proud Canadian who currently lives and works in British Columbia, Canada.

Although his oil paintings and drawings have been displayed in many successful gallery showings, his most satisfying work resulted from his introduction to pen and ink when he envisioned what would become ‘The Jam’ series.

At the age of 20, Michael began to create his first monumental drawing – ‘The Jam Part I, A History’.

He completed the second work in the ‘Jam’ series – ‘The Jam Part II, Long Live Rock & Roll’ - 20 years later.

His work is now sold and displayed throughout the World and the popularity of ‘The Jam’ series continues to grow.
